We provided a full-service foundation waterproofing system designed to protect their home for decades:
1. Excavation
Our team excavated around the foundation perimeter, carefully exposing the entire basement wall down to the footing without disturbing the landscaping.
2. Cleaning & Prep
We cleaned the concrete walls of dirt, debris, and prior sealant remnants to ensure proper adhesion of waterproofing materials.
3. Waterproofing Application
A high-performance bitumen membrane was applied, followed by installation of a dimple board drainage mat for exterior water deflection and pressure relief.
4. French Drain Installation
We laid a perforated drain pipe in a gravel bed at the footing line, wrapped in a geotextile sleeve to protect against clogs.
5. Backfilling
The trench was carefully backfilled and sloped to direct surface water away from the home. Soil compaction was performed to prevent settling.
6. Interior Check
Once the exterior was secured, the interior basement was cleaned, re-inspected, and finished with a clean coat of sealant for peace of mind.
